I have boobs and hips and the saleslady said, "This dress is made for slimmer people," which apparently means rectangle (because the cut is nice on you) and then I raised my eyebrows and marched my pretty bum out of David's Bridal.

In fact, no. I have boobs and hips and go out and in all over. The mermaid looks stupid on everyone. Or at least, as an out-and-in person their are a million things that look much much better. Have you tried the long lace sheath, in the 1920's vein? If you can find an affordable one, they are built for you. I loved them but many things looked much better on me.

Have you tried looking at non-wedding shops lady? The dresses have more... soul... I did the bridal salons and while everyone was lovely and nice, yeah, no.
