Dear Be Collective,

WHERE WERE YOU when I was looking for wedding favors?

That's right, micies, favors. Those incredible pains in the ass that eat up time and money like no other wedding detail. Today's giveaway solves this problem for you, forever, in incredible style. The adorable Emily over at Be Collective does these perfect little stamped muslin bags, and she does them stylishly, impeccably, and for a reasonable amount of money. Also, if you are going to shanghai your bridesmaids into helping, I bet you a billion dollars they would rather put treasures in bags than, say, fold 300 origami boxes.
They are 4x6, so they can dress up just about anything--jordan almonds, M&Ms, little notes, rocks and feathers, seashells--seriously, anything you can think of to give as favors!
Emily has about three bazillion styles, many of which come with your initials customized at no extra charge. Waves for a nautical wedding. Owls for out in the woods. A variety of hearts and posies.
Today's giveaway is totally killer: the winner will receive 50 bags in your choice of design, AND AND AND 20% off any remaining quantity of bags you may need. Meaning if you have 150 guests, you can knock out the remaining favors on the cheap.

If it were me, and it were a year ago, I would choose the billy balls design (you remember our bouquets had billy balls?) and then, inside, I would put a treasure in each bag. A little gem. A feather. An interesting rock. I love this idea so much I wish I could go back and get married again.

To enter:

I absolutely love the peony branch bags! My fiance and I are getting married this August in a public garden. I'd love to fill these beautiful bags stamped with our initials and wedding date with wildflower seeds for our guests to scatter and remember our celebration by. The world could use a few more bright blossoms!

I tweeted, and I am entering because even though I'm married, my SIL is getting married this summer and I would love to win these for her and then make up cute little bags of candy to go in her OOT bags. For me, I love the Owls, but for SIL, the blue mum will go perfectly with their teal wedding.

I tweeted (http://twitter.com/#!/JASIVRAS/status/72706283601530880). And the bags would be perfect for us! We're making a salt and herb mix for our favors. We'd choose the flourish or the thank you bags!

I tweeted (@marylandmel). I really like the maroon lotus flower as well as the peacock. I would fill these with most likely candies and perhaps a small candle and a little thank you note? It would be so hard to decide!

They are so cute! I would have them monogrammed with our newly married inititals and then stuff them with fruit slices...the gourmet ones you can only buy at specialty candy stores..they are my absolute fave! Of course they would need to be in a plastic bag first!! I'm also hosting my first giveaway so please feel free to stop by! Love your blog and am now following!

I'm also already married, but I'm entering for my SIL. She would choose the billy balls design and fill each one with M&Ms! Or, if she's not interested, I will use them myself to celebrate my 30th birthday. I would pick the owl design and fill each one with a shot glass and a randomized cocktail recipe :-)

Ooh, I can't stand captcha. I leave comments and always forget about that last step!

I tweeted for you. I'm entering because we just had to toss out all of our hand-made crafts that don't work for our wedding now that we've moved it from San Francisco to Tucson. Since we've moved the wedding to the Tucson Botanical Gardens and I no longer have time to craft anything for the replacement wedding, I would love the bags with the lotus flower in the light blue/green color (which also looks like a succulent). I would tuck the San Francisco luggage tags that we made into them to give as "thank you" gifts with our post-wedding thank you cards, so that we could tie our two weddings together.

I like the billy balls ones and would slip a few girl scout cookies (if they fit) in, because our venue is a mansion that was once owned by girl scouts of america (there are lots of cabins w bunk beds on the grounds, it's adorable). Thanks!

My favs are the owls, easily. They don't really match anything else in our decor (not that everything has to be matchy-matchy), but my fiance and I are getting wedding tattoos together next month, and mine is going to be an owl! I say that's enough of a 'fit.' I'd fill them with home-baked cookies: Nana's gingerbread, and orange shortbread.
