YOU GUYS! The dress and the shoes like each other! They had immediate chemistry and are falling deeply in love.

Now I just have to decide on shoe size. Usually I wear 9.5, pictured above, but my heel slides up and down a little. The nines, meanwhile, have sung heels but slight toe hangover. This may just be a choice between different kinds of blisters. Even the very nice and over-qualified shoe man at Nordstrom could not decide which size I should wear. Thoughts?

I have a real wedding preview for you in a little while, and other than that, happy weekend!

Maybe if you put one of those insoles in that hugs the heel and makes it cushier the 9.5 will fit better? I'd choose that over toe hangover. (Man those toes have been drinking too much!)

PS - cute!

So very pretty! I'd get the 9, break 'em in a bit, and hope they stretch slightly to reduce toe hangover and prevent blisters. Good luck! You made a great choice; the shoes are perfect with the dress.

Oh so pretty! I love it! I'd probably go with accordions on this one, if you could find insoles you should be good! I'm the queen of finding insoles because I can never find shoes that fit nice!

Yay! Looks lovely! (toe hangover is one of my great pet peeves. I would highly recommend going for slightly big over the dreaded hang over!!)

i agree with going larger and getting those little heel thingies that hug your feet and keep them put. presumably your feet will also be swelling with happiness on the day of, and you wouldn't want any pinching.

They are cute.

If there is a major toe overhang then go the size up but if minor go smaller and stretch those babies.

yay, i knew they'd be best friends! i have feet issues so i'll get blisters no matter what. people have told me to size up because your feet will swell. i'm not sure what to do either though. god, i'm so helpful.

I love those shoes. You're going to do many a happy dance in those shoes and dress! And since I've had too many issues with bog/small, I'd go slightly small (with forces stretching) rather than too big on the sandals. Unless you're falling off the edge too much.

Woohoo! Yay for finding the shoes! I agree with accordions and everyone else who said to get the bigger ones with the insoles.

This is always my issue! I have long, skinny feet as well.

Go with the 9.5 and get one of those gel pad inserts for the heel area. Someone at Nordstroms should be able to help you find them, but they sell them all over.

Well yay! Since they get along, I bet that fit stuff will get solved through communication:).
