This, on the left, was so close to being a great bridesmaid dress. It's a nice, lightweight cotton-poly blend. It falls just to the knee. It has a cute, ruched top and bottom. And in person, it is NOT SHINY LIKE THIS PHOTO. It's just a nice teal. It's only $118 at Nordstrom (though, oddly, is not available online or in Colorado Nordstrom. Why?)Sadly, when I went to visit this dress the second time with The Artist,* it looked much more green and shiny than I had remembered. And the ruched bodice, which is great on flat gals like me, was a little...um...emphatic about The Artist's boobs. So the search goes on.
I want teal. I don't need them in matching styles, but I do want them to be in non-shiny, nice bright teal. I don't want to do the hip mismatchy thing,** since the goal is a simple palette of primary tones rather than a pastel spectrum.
Anyway, what do we think about this? (Pretend it's the right color. I like the jersey, the flexible styling, and the length.)
* My maid of honor.
** Also, Mama Mouse is convinced it will make the photos look weird. I actually like how it looks some of the time, but am yielding here. I can only care about 73 things at once.

How about http://www.styleshake.com/ ?
Potentially awesome?
have you looked at ann taylor and/or the express? ann taylor has a nice wedding line that i found last night...
One thing I learnt when shopping for bridesmaid dresses was that if it looks shiny in the initial photo (regardless of what it looks like in real life) AVOID. Unless you want shiny, of course.
They will look good on the day in person but then you will get the photos and they will look shiny in your mind forever.
But you will find a good dress(es) soon, promise.
If you're into the jersey, flexible style-thing, there's:

Your girls may have to spend a bit more ($250-$270), but they can wear and re-wear the dress again and again in dozens of ways.
I'll be a bridesmaid in a July wedding. We are wearing teal in varying styles made by designer Mori Lee, which you can find online and in most bridal boutiques.
Good luck! Let us know what you find!
shiny in photos = shiny in photos.
try department stores. may seem a long shot, but i know a bunch of folks who found reasonable ones at department stores.
i really like the jim hjelm...it's beautiful. does it come in teal, in a shorter style, or are you cool with a long bridesmaid dress.
if all else fails, you could check out david's bridal. my friend went there and was surprised to find a lot of good options, in terms of color and style.
I like the Jim Hjelm dress you linked to. It's super cool that you can do different things to the neckline. Will allow your women to pick what works best for them. And if you want them shorter and they only come full length, a simple hem is really easy.
I was poking around on Nordstrom's website and saw some fantastic teal dresses. You may want to check them out.

Maggie London's classic halter with the bow comes in a teal usually.
Victoria's Secret makes a convertible dress which comes in several shades of blue and is like, $80. Or what about this? http://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Shoes/Connected-Apparel-Womens-Sleeveless-Solid-Chiffon-Dress/4355970/product.html
