Here's Amanda, walking down one of the greatest staircases I have ever seen. You can really tell that her style--and Les's--structured their entire wedding. She's an interior designer, and he's an architect. As Amanda says, "Everything related to our wedding was designed by us from the invitations, to the flower girl dresses, even our guest book." They found a reclaimed door ($20!) from an architectural salvage store for their ceremony backdrop, brought in "tree slices" from family land for the centerpieces, and used "reclaimed barn windows, antique sewing drawers, lanterns & vases from Pottery Barn, and cattails to create some of the more rustic details of our wedding."
Also, the guests got to throw birch airplanes instead of rice or birdseed. I love that idea!
