And now, a Friday dress-hunt double-header: two dresses that I like a lot, but not on me. They fit and everything. The first one is a deliciously drapey Vera Wang; the second a simple lace dress from Monique Lhuillier's new, lower-priced collection (still, ow ow). They're cute. They fit. They look good. They just don't do anything.(6. the drapey dress and 7. the nice lace dress)

i still like the miranda dress best on you, but i know it's probably ridiculously expensive. you're lucky in that every single dress looks awesome on your body though! keep trying - you'll find the right one soon enough.
Hmm. Agreed. I don't think either of these has quite the "wow" factor of the Miranda (and, I'm sure, of the dress you eventually chose!). The second one in particular is just kind of ... nice. Sweet. Pretty. All good things, of course, but nothing to get all excited about either.
